It has been claimed on some website (http://home.att.net/~jbaugher4/f18_24.html), that the F/A-18E with 4 AMRAAMs and 2 Sidewinders can loiter on station for 71 mins 400nm from the carrier, as compared to 58 mins for a similarly configured F-14D. Any truth to these claims?
