taiwan

taiwan is a tiny nation of 20 million ish and it is democratic, industrilzed, etc. but it alons stnads up to china all by itself.
currently the us can only sell “defensive” arms to taiwan, china dosen’t want the us to sell the patriot and aegis systems to taiwan. i admire taiwan for stnading alone, but will the us sel this stuff (and more) to taiwna apparentl the republicans like taiwan, but the democrats like china.

aviation wise don’t they have the mirage 2000, f-16 (early model), Ching kuo (f16/18/20 mix thing) and some homebuilt trainer (tzu chung ?)
