Differences / sutabilty of Rafale and Typoon

the rafale and the typoon both use deltas and canards.
rafale – carrier capable, 6,000kg, 30mm cannon, @ 11,000m 1321mph
typoon – possible crrier capable, 6,500kg, 27mm cannon, @ 11,000m 1321mph

france and tpoon consortium were all once in together to build the origional but france dropped out

please guys with your expert knowledge tell me the differnces that would defend the rafale as it seams weaker from the above data.
data like price, etc would help
