LAST EDITED ON 21-Feb-01 AT 11:44 AM (GMT)[p]ok guys in air to air combat between F22s(for that matter comparable aircraft) in combat conditions,incuding AEW,EW support aircraft in the ‘background’ how will it be ?
my guess is there is going to be hardly any BVR combat most are visual fights with WVR AAMs and guns (turn and burn dogfights),if they manage to come into contact with each other that is,And what if the infra red countermeasures worked perfectly as advertised (there is no scientific constant that can prevent this from happening then again this is only a possibility)
We are back to gunfighting again!(USAF is not stupid)
so guys any opinions on how low observable fighters vs low observable fighters will turn out with the condition that detection technology have not progress to the point of detecting a stealth is as normal as detecting an F16.
