Aerobatic Display Teams

I believe Aerobatic Display Teams perform a very important role, as for many of the voting taxpayers (in Western, democratic nations anyway), they form the most public face of the defence forces and instill a sense of pride and worth in a country’s military on the part of the taxpayers. Of course, they are a waste of money, but it’s an important waste of money :).

I’d just like to hear some of your thoughts on which display teams are the best you have seen? I have only ever seen the RAAF Roulettes perform in PC-9s (would have loved to have seen them in the Macchis, although the PC-9s are more manouvreble, the sound of jets is just…well…better).
