get rid of nukes!!!!

Get rid of nukes, because we will all die if there is an atomic war!

Last week I saw the movie “On The Beach” and it scared me stiff about the horrors of what would happen if they did fired the nukes.
It showed the affects of the destructive power of a nuke and after showed the effects after all the sides have fired their weapons. They didn’t use just area shots, but up-close and personal images who had to suffered form radiation. And at the end (sorry if you haven’t seen the movie); but they show the final survivors giving themselves lethal injection to avoid the pain of radiation poisoning. It was the most eye opening film about the reality of nukes.

To makes this relavent to the forum. What are air forces and world governments doing to get rid of these horrible weapons? Who is still developing them? And finally who is tring to get rid of them.
