Hi guys, regarding some of the posts dealing with the Rafale and the F18E/F I thought it might be useful to mention a couple of publications that have featured the two. I get the feeling that on this forum the F18E finds greater favour among Euro-types than among Americans. I have no idea why.

Flight International 23-29 June 1999. Rafale test flight(with two Apache missiles, three external tanks and four MICAs). The pilot is Chris Yeo-a former EF2000 test pilot.
Regrettably some journalists like Jon Lake seem to delight in trashing the French at every turn and this I believe may account for the negative press. Unfortunately he also likes to present EF2000 design goals as though they were long established fact and some of his comments in the November ´97 edition of AFM need clarification as do some in the Volume 35 World Airpower Journal.
