Looks like the US Marine Corps has adopted it’s own peculiar camoflage uniform. The BDU’s currently worn are to be phased out, and to insure that it remains distinctively “Marine” the USMC intends to patent it. The Commandant wants his troops to look different than any other force. Can’t say that it’s a bad idea, but getting replacement uniforms could be a pain at times.
