Iranian F-16's

I stumbled across an iranian air force website (http://www.iiaf.net) where they say that some time in the past, iran received two F-16’s from U.S.A (from a planned acquisitoin of around 300)but later they were returned to Lockheed martin and sold again to Israel.
Can anyone confirm this, and have any more on this ?
