After so much discussion about “realistic scenarios” and what is actually realistic or not somewhere else on this forum, and, after a discussion about the future of air warfare in more than 20 years, I would like to hear some opinions about what is a most probable next “realistic scenario” of air-to-air combat?
Where is the next air-to-air clash going to happen? Which air forces, strategical and tactical methods will be brought to bear, and – “most important” – what fighters/interceptors, technologies and weapons will be used in the first next air-to-air clash?

PS One “rule”: as said, this is about “air-to-air”, but support elements are not excluded.
