Australian International Airshow

Anybody coming down for the Airshow, just an hour’s drive from where I live in Avalon, SE of Melbourne?

Anyways, just wanted to know if any of u know of a possible line-up? This year is a bit of momentous one for Australians, it’s the centenary of federation (100 years as an independent country), and it’s also the year of the RAAF’s 80th birthday. As such, the line-up has been rumoured to be quite impressive, especially seeing as the AIR6000 program (replacement of RAAF’s fast jets) will shortly start getting seriously underway. I’ve heard, although this must be bs, of B-1 (it was promised last time, didn’t turn up), possible a B-2, the Thunderbirds, Red Arrows, countless other aerobatics groups, Typhoon, Rafale (contenders for AIR6000), possibly Su-30 and Su-34/32FN (if the Russians can afford to send two examples our way), as well as a huge warbird contingent and examples of every aircraft the RAAF has ever flown.

Does anybody out there know of any possible deployments to Avalon in early February?
