Combat capability of Hawk 100

India appears to at last dicided to buy 66+ hawk100, twin-seat trainer cum ground attack fighter for around $1.5 bn. At around $25 mn per bird, it appears to be an expensive deal even comparing to F16 block50 price which is around $20-25mn.

Obviously, Indians are going to use it as a front-line a/c too. Recently Australia, indonesia appear to have baught Hawks for attack role. how do you compare hawk 100 (Not hawk 200 which is single seat attack a/c) as a combat a/c in comparison with:

1: Jaguars
2: tornado
3: F-16
4: Mig-29
5: M2K
6: Su-27/30
7: FC-1

Reason these a/cs are chosen is that these are the front line a/cs in South Asia/China region?

Thank you
