Anyone remember this abortive attack helicopter? Extremely fast and agile for a helo but eventually killed by cost overruns and technical problems. Max level speed was around 212 knots and had a swivelling gunner’s seat that could swivel through 360 degrees. In high speed flight almost the entire engine output was fed to the tail gearbox to drive the pusher propeller. Not exactly as formidable as an Apache but interesting nonetheless.
Wonder how it would have performed in a Desert Storm-like scenario?
