Modrern Sources of Info????

Joke goes:

After incident on Soviet China border the incident was repordet on TV stations over the world:
Moscow: Today on border between China and Glorius SSSR
an incident was provoked by chines aggresors. Soviet
Harvester was peacefully harvesting grain(or potatos) when it was
suddenly fired upon by chinese attack plane. Our Harvester returned fire shooting down chinese plane and then flew back to base.
Bejing: Today on border between PRC and SSSR and incident was started when heavily armed soviet tank fired on chinese farm plane which was spraying crops. Our plane fired its rockets destroying tank, then safely retuned to base.

CNN repot: Today on border between China And SSSR talks were held on topic of agricultural cooperation between these two nations.

This is a humorous way of looking on todays madia, but on the serious side how to get reliable and accurate news (if posible)when they are always influenced by Nation that is governing over particular source. Every country on planet has emergency media control programe in case of situation of conflict.I know that you brits and yenke are gonna say “no our media is free and bbc cnn cbc… report only truth”. Not denying that those sources are more free that any else, it has be proven many times that they cant alweys be trusted. BBCs reporting into black fridey is been critisied for many years…and more reacently the arrest of three care workers in kosovo sparked debate when it was discovered that care canada employed retired inteligence agents and covertly send them into kosovo as part of OSCE mission. This was uncovered by CNN and some Aussie station SBS but under pressuer from US and OZ govs. they both aired stories after release three man…thats 4 months after.

Well what has this has to do with aviation…a lot. Many topis disscused here came from less reliable sources than cnn and bbc and people tend to belive it.Even info relised by the coutries Like US and Russkies is questionable. How can we be sure of the facts that they produced on..lets say f22 and Mig1.42 or with europeans on typhoon or french on raphael. Haw these machines been independetly tested? I think not, yet we have countries lining up for billions worth of purchase just on the word of producer.I know that some of nations test equipment before purchase but can they seriously preform all tests to prove manifacturers claim in small time frame preiod that those tests usualy take place? And finaly when they make purchase what do you think is the percentage of situation when its own public is lied to with regards of cost of import or development???
I say quite high..anyway what do you guys think???
