Israel shot down Arab airliner

I have just come across some info that Israeli phantoms shot down an Libyan Arab Airlines plane over the Sinai in the early 70s. This seems remarkably like the KAL 007 shootdown by Russian fighters north of Japan. Apparently the airliner got lost due to faulty equipment trying to land at Cairo so was intercepted by Phantoms who were close enough to fire warning shots , because the pilot didnt follow the jets cannon fire was used to bring it down. The plane was a Boeing 727. All onboard died , about 100 people.
Even today it seems only the Arabs can do ‘barbourous acts’ but the jewish State is allways justified in the action it takes.
Certainly from far away it sometimes looks like Jew and palestian deserve each other but trhe conflict will continue until Isreal makes much more concessions over Jerusalem and jewish settlements in the area of the Palestianian Authority, and if it needs more outside pressure from the rest of the world so bet it.
