Russia-India deal

Russia and India signed a contract some days ago. They want to cooperate against Muslim terrorism, respectively in Chechnya and Pakistan. If I’m not wrong this isn’t very logic. Russia will deliver weapons to India as well as Pakistan. Not directly, but Russia also has a deal with China: it has helped with the FC-1 fighter and China has the permission to build Flankers in licence. China is very close with Pakistan: the only raison d’être of the FC-1 is the possible Pakistan order. Russia is therefor, although, not directly, also an “ally”of Pakistan. The fact that Russia supplies weapons to both sided isn’t that special (Ethiopia-Erirtrea), but when both governments sign an agreement it’s a bit different…
I wonder how this will evolve…
