On september 22, 2000 Raf No.74 “Tiger” Squadron
disbanded in a ceremony in Valley.
Shortage of pilots on the Raf imply logically
a shortage of Qualified Flying Instructors (QFI).
The sadest news of all is that the squadron will
not be reinstated as a future Typhoon/Eurofighter
squadron.
