a bad/good idea!

some americans will easily disagree, as you know the f/a18 might well be the last manned US navy fighter, so, if they let Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) fly the aircraft could it (they) be trusted? and i say ( they ) because the Intelligence of the robots they are designing today are beyond belief, so they could develop a mind of there own eventually if they get smarter like the ones in japan or china ( i forgot which country ) if the robots make a mistake next time they do the same task, they do it better or perfect, so who knows one day they might even have AI controlled aircraft carriers with AI controlled planes, so there would be no need for human presence abourd the carrier!

personally i think the idea is ok, but just think of the consiquences if everything went wrong!
