Im currently on a theoretical kick for a better US Navy Fleet Air Arm and I was wondering how much cross over could of been achieved if the KC-130J program had been partnered with the p-3 replacement. like could the engines be compatible? avionics? things like that?

The answer is yes components from the C-130J program like engines could be crossed over into a p-3 replacement/refit program. Further from that Lockheed Martin did indeed propose as such more then once.
