the first long voyage is likely to west pacific, pass near Okinawa, the usually training area of the North Sea Fleet.

wow, they really turned a rusty old ex-soviet wreck into an aircraft carrying cruise liner.
hard to believe that an ex-soviet ship can become so modern and clean.
as for the J-15 in the pics, i think thats the mockup, different canopy.

Wait until the 4th month of a 5-month “cruise around the Indian Ocean and visit Burma/Pakistan/Zimbabwe” deployment and see how those spaces look.
That will be the true picture.

Those J-15’s are mockups – and not very good ones either!!!
They were probably used to develop deck-handling skills, but they certainly could not have flown.
