Naval aviation video's

I collect navair vids. Private home movies, PLAT, mishaps but nothing professional as in Discovery channel etc.
Anyone with stuff to swap with give me a yell. I only work on a swap basis.

You also might search You Tube for the following topics;
Pitching Deck ___ Carrier landings in bad weather, from the PBS video Carrier
Night Carrier Landings
Carrier Landings Gone Wrong
Night Carrier Landings

carrier

When Carrier first came out i tried to buy in on line, but they would’nt ship to Australia. After seeing a few episodes on cable tv i’m glad i saved my money.

Worth pointing out that searching on “carrier” brings back the series of the same name following the USS Nimitz on a 6 month deployment back in 2005. All 10x 56 minute episodes are available.

vids

Of coarse i know about youtube. Most vids on it are tiny snippets that are not worth worrying about as a collector. Even the average Korean war home vid runs in at 20 mins right up to 90 minutes sometimes. This is what i collect.

I am nice!

A YouTube search for “Navy Pilots” produces this result, note this way made back when the Sea Harrier was still in service. Discussed at huge length here on PPRuNe: Sea Jet thread.

Other episodes of the same series cover other aspects of RN aviation. Or try entering words like “Carrier” as a search term, or an aircraft type (Tomcat, Intruder, Super Eterndard), or a carrier name, or just “naval aviation”.

There’s lots out there. Enjoy!
