The French link is not working. I can confirm that the yacht is called ‘Sigma’ or ‘Project Sigma’. It is 387 feet long. It may belong to Roman or Malenchenko (who?).
Name correction, the yacht may belong to Andrei Melnichenko and Roman is a client of Andrei’s.

Military linework seems to be a vogue among some of the premium rich man’s toymakers at the moment, try googling the Lamborghini Reventón with its jetfighter side intakes and so on.
(Personally I think a car should look like a car and much prefer the the rounded classic lines of an Alfa Romeo 8C, but that’s of course a whole different matter.)

The project name is Sigma (SF99 Hull number 970) and she was designed by the French designer Philippe Starck http://www.philippe-starck.com/.
The contract was with Blohm and Voss but due to the Hamburg yard being too busy it was decided to use the HDW yard at Kiel.

If this yacht is 459 feet long, it could be the ‘Crystal Ball’!:)
