I know that a Forum on ‘Small / Light aircraft carriers’ has just been held recently.
But this issue of the US Navy’s ‘Sea Control Ship’ (SCS) and the ‘Air Capable Spruance’ destroyer proposals has me very interested.
Does anyone have any line drawings, art work and specifications of the proposed designs that the US Navy looked at in more detail??

I’m a long time fan of the Sea Control Ship concept, I think a new design SCS fitted with the latest equipment would be a far better way to spend a naval budget than most of the warship designs around at the moment.
Here is a old post on the SCS http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showpost.php?p=629312&postcount=14
This back issue of Naval Aviation News magazine has a article on the SCS (page 42) http://www.history.navy.mil/nan/backissues/1970s/1972/mar72.pdf
Here is a nice pic of the SCS derived SPS Principe de Asturias.
