But may be the new ordered one may have it , But retrofitting the Dolphins with Fuel Cells it shouldnt be a problem

thanks for the info,But for turbo popeye to achieve 1500 km range,and to be fitted inside submrine torpedo tube,the entire missile must undergoes massive redesign or even complete different kind of missile.

Mate , The Dolphin are a special sub tailor made for Israel , The Dolphin have 10 TT , out of which 4 are 650 mm , A clear indication that she can fire Tomahawk size cruise missile , The popeye SLCM can be fired from Dolphins and the test which took place in the Indian Ocean are vindications of it.

At any point of time atleast 1 Dolphin and possibly 2 SSK are on constant patrol with her special package , No one should have doubts what she carries as special payload.
Officially the 650 mm TT are capable of launching swimmer delivery vehicles (SDVs) 😉

There were media reports that the Indian Ocean test were done with Tacit support and help from India and IN , It also a mere coincidence that the new CM/SLCM under development has a range of more than 1500+ km.

about few years ago,report from newspaper thatIsrael has successfully conducted test firing submarine launched cruise missile.
while some report that the cruise missile may be just another extended range version of harpoon.some may not be so sure,there is suspect that missile may be equivalent of tomahawk cruise missile,design for only one purpose in mind,to attack iranian nuclear facility
