Wan: Mate, good point, but over time the 40/60 Bofors that manned these craft became less effective so many countries changed them to two 20mm guns in seperate pits (I know our ones did and with that list you provided I’m going to have a scan through and see if I can find our ones), this was also complimented with a twin mounting on the rear which in most pics you can’t see.

I looked at that but what had me decide it wasn’t an LSM was the armament. I thought most had a single 40mm forward. They look much different with that!

Well here’s the last Ship

It’s an LSM-1 Class lander, this is an old American one. They have recently been retired in Greece who have swapped their boats for Four Pormornik class hover craft.

They are still in use with:
China
Paraguay
Phillippines
South Korea
Taiwan
Thailand
and Vietnam

Though there actual status is probably more like, “Not in use”.

Australia had these craft in service from the late 40’s-70’s when we retired them they were sold to a shipping company in South America, I’d be very interested in hearing the eventual fate, it would be great if they were still going!

Boy you guys are good, still there is one left:

Ship 5_1 is indeed Rogov but it’s not a new pic, might be a new one that you haven’t seen, this is my favourite Soviet Landing Craft
http://www.defence.co.kr/weaponbook/wimage/ivan/ivan2.jpg

Ship 5_2 is Haruna
http://www.defence.co.kr/html/bbs/data/seaarms2/Japanese%20destroyer%20JDS%20Haruna%20(DDH%20141).jpg

Ship 5_4 is a Type 21 but it’s not British (though it used to be), PNS Badur
http://english.people.com.cn/200310/21/images/265141.jpg

Ship 5_5 is indeed FNS Tourville

So what is the last one in this series???? I’ll give you a clue, there are some still left in service around the world, mainly in the poorer countries, though they used to be everywhere mainly as war surplus.

5_1 is Ivan Rogov class. As the Rogov herself has been scrapped, if this is a new photo, that may be Mitrofan Moskalenko.
