What ship exactly does this model represent? It’s not the Talwar, nor is it the new corvette (sorry, can’t spell the name 😉 ) and neither is it the Neustrashimyy (I CAN spell that though, go figure!). However it looks closer to the latter than any other ship. Is it a new variant of the design or a revised configuration for the second-of-class that has reportedly resumed construction?
I think it is an modernized export derivative of Neustrashimy, called Yastreb (?) . Main differences with Neustrashimy are new main gun, modified front superstructure with 8-cell instead of rbu6000 and 32 SA-N-9 lowered by 1 deck, new gun fire control radar, and 4×4 Uran AShM.

I have to say that this vessel (although it is only a model) does look to be quite stealthy, in fact I would say more so than the Talwar’s.
I think this would make a very good sea control asset (especially if it got VL Stil). I wonder whether china may be a target nation, she already operates 2 956’s so that might explain the designation.
Does anybody have any info on the latest Russian shipboard Sonar and and Radar equipment?
