As far as I can make out (with an online translator) it will be commissioned in July 2007 and displaces 19,000t full load. And, it is a very good-looking vessel… 🙂

Just a thought, but the bow looks a bit odd – it would have looked a lot better if it had been finished with a ‘squared off’ bow, like the American Wasp class. Otherwise, a fine looking ship, probably built at a reasonable price.

I know about the TNI-AN’s purchase, their so called “Hospital ship”, be interesting to see what becomes of it.
From the pictures I have seen it looks more or less like a medium sized Enforcer family LPD.

Dae Sun sold LPD to Indonesia few months ago. I don’t see why LPX wouldn’t be.

Interesting ship………..I could see many small ships of this type operating JSF’s in the next 10-15 years. :rolleyes:
