Exactor and Spike NLOS – the politics

So I was pondering upon this the other day and wondered if somebody could clear something up for me.

Is it fair to say that the general consensus is that Exactor was/is Spike NLOS?

And is it correct to say that this weapon has stayed secret because of political concerns related to its Israeli origins?

Is that right?

What is the logic there?

I suppose I get that bit of the argument but there are plenty of things like Israeli UAVs (and not just from the UK) operating out there helping to kill Islamists. So I find it all a bit tenuous.

Is it more about giving extremists in the UK ammunition for their zionist conspiracies than farmers in Helmand?

We were using it in Afghanistan, in support of a government trying to entice the supporters of Islamists to switch sides, or at least stop attacking it. Why give the enemy material for their propaganda?
