KeyAero: Precise Question Regarding FADEC System in the Daher TBM 940

Hello fellow pilots and aviation enthusiasts,

I’m currently researching the FADEC system in the Daher TBM 940 for a project and have a very specific question I’m hoping someone with experience on this aircraft can answer.

My question pertains to the FADEC’s handling of a specific engine anomaly – specifically, a scenario involving a partial loss of fuel pressure to one engine during cruise. I’m interested in understanding the precise sequence of events the FADEC initiates: does it immediately initiate a derate, switch to alternate fuel sources (if any are available), provide any specific cockpit alerts beyond the standard low fuel pressure warning, or automatically initiate a shutdown? Any details on the FADEC’s response in this particular scenario, including specific parameters (if known) that trigger different actions, would be immensely helpful.

Any insight based on personal experience, training manuals, or technical documentation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and expertise.

Sincerely,

level devil
