Static Shots First
Hadn’t intended doing the flight line walk on Sunday but the Hurricanes and other BoB era aircraft had been turned tail on to the walk, for what look like a photo shoot separate from the press photographers, so too good an opportunity not to take advantage of.
I had dug out my oldish (released in 2014) 20MP/Sony a5000 CSC and slapped the 16-50mm zoom kit lens on it and set it to ‘Auto-I’, to let the camera pick all the setting, and went pointing and shooting. Highlights were a little overexposed, something I would have compensated for in Manual, but what could you expect when the camera thinks it knows best. A bit same same but that was due to the lack of angles.
Flying shots to follow soon in this thread. In the order taken.

Thanks for posting, Brian – this is the first Duxford Airshow I’ve missed for ages and I was very disappointed to miss the Hurricane Fest. Lovely Pics.
