Old Warden Navy airshow 04-06-2017

This was going to be a split weekend for me with Saturday spent at La Ferte Alais in France and Sunday at Old Warden in Bedfordshire. However the weather forecast in that area of France was bad so on Friday morning I gave that one a miss and did not book a ferry ticket.

I could have gone to La Ferte on Sunday instead but I chose to go to the one day show at Old Warden and despite the cloud making photography awkward to get some colour out of the images, I enjoyed it very much and for me, the right decision.

Highlights was the Catalina low pass,the BBMF Hurricane and Spitfire formation flypast as well as the Grumman Bearcat and Wildcat. So many others too.
