RAF Northolt Centenary Open Day

What was looking like a super show gradually got washed away by low cloud and aircraft being unable to take off from other airfields.
The Trooping of the Colour Flypast was due to route directly over Northolt but this was the first of many cancellations. The Chinook display was next followed by the Falcons free fall team. Who would want to be a commentator on a day like this. towards the end of the day, aircraft were able to display and the ones that did provided an excellent contribution to the day. Full marks to Northolt for opening their doors to the public and giving a warm welcome to us all.
such a shame when you could see that so much work had gone into the day.
Attached are a few shots from the day. Well done Northolt.

Nice pictures, all things considered.
Seems like the flypast consisted of the Red Arrows.
