Hot and tricky Yeovilton

Had a lovely time at Yeovilton this year. It’s a show I haven’t attended in some years so I really enjoyed being back.

Lots of quality flying and a couple of nice treats on the ground. I did struggle a lot with the light however, and I’m not happy with a great deal of these. Regardless there’s a few more online at my site: http://www.jakedaltonaviation.co.uk

If you are less than satisfied with any of those all I have to say is that I would be happy to take such shots. In many ways I think the lighting worked in your favo

Yes, it was a great day. Some excellent flying an excellent weather.

Pity about all the Tech probs with some of the aircraft. but it did not detract from the event.

I had a prime spot right behind the Vulcan when it was parked Far side and then right in front of us when it parked before being Tugged ofter its display.

Thought the T7 Hunter was a great display with lots of Blue Note and loved the Yak Red Stars, seemed to make 4 aircraft look a lot more somehow !

Thanks to Seafuryfan for the Tickets, nice to meet you and hope you had a good flight home in the Griffin ?

I NOTICED ALL THE BARRIERS WERE REMOVED FROM THE STATIC SEAFURY ON OUR WAY OUT SO HAD A GOOD LOOK ROUND.

OOPS ! sorry about the Caps. Finger trouble and can’t be arsed to re type it again.

Very nice shots, I agree about the light issues, lots of aircraft went tech on Sat but felt the quality of the flying we saw was very good.
I like the F16 pulling out of the loop, I need to follow your lead and pan back on a few… close up is not always better.
