Gibraltar Airport- Part Road, Part Runway

One of the most extraordinary Airports or rather it’s runway in the world is the Gibraltar Airport. Because Gibraltar is less than 7 squire kilometers in size and a big part of that is the Rock of Gibraltar, the runway is also used as a crossing for cars and pedestrians. Thankfully only around 30 flights a week are handled here. Have a look and share more info with us.

Landed there a couple of times in shacks ,once ended up right on the end of the runway and a tractor had to come and tow us back as we could not turn round!Brakes were hot on that landing!!Has the runway been extended since 1960?
