Shuttleworth Flying Day August 2013-t he show and the departures

Unfortunately the wind was too strong for a full display, but the show was still very enjoyable and the display by the Hawker Demon and Hind duo was something really special. As reported elsewhere the Sea Hurricane had a bird strike during its routine, however it completed a lovely show.
We spent sometime afterwards catching the departures I have posted these here also.

For the first time at an airshow I went into totally manual settings rather than TV and took the shutter speeds down a bit more than normal too.
