This footage was captured on a Canon 7D and Canon XF100.
I have edited the footage to music as the audio was generally spoiled by camera shutters going off and also the bloody annoying commentator who just wouldn’t keep quiet and let us hear the engines of these amazing aircraft!
The footage isn’t edited chronologically and has been composed to make it look like the P-47/Mustangs/P-40’s and B-17 were all in the air at the same time as the Spifires and 109’s.
I added a Bleach Bypass effect to the aircraft footage (same effect in Saving Private Ryan) and also added some film grain to give it an older feel.

That is absolute genius. You should be rightly proud of that video – the way you have put it together works beautifully
and as well as capturing the quality of Legends again this year, it is an outstanding tribute to all those who fought and
gave their lives all those years ago.
Exceptional work. I think you should see if TFC would consider using it as the trailer to Flying Legends 2014. It’s very special.
