I have to say I enjoyed the FL this year and was looking forward to bing close to authentic looking re-enactors. They certainly didn’t disappoint and I got some great shots (well I think I got some great shots, you’ll have to decide).
I know many of you are expert aircraft photographer’s, but I had a try at making the images I shot a little more ‘old school’.

PS. I realise the first image isn’t ‘old-school’ but I shot it on my Windows phone as I prepared to depart on the second day and was quite pleased with the result 😉

I was expecting some super cheesy stuff when I read the title, but I admit I quite like them. My favourite of the series is the colour shot of “P-47 with mechanic”.

Sir, you are an artist. The P47 caught in the reflection of the sunglasses was particularly well done.
