Sorry for the late posting, but I thought would share these with other forumites.
Had a mixed day with the Spring airshow, Firstly the trains all went up the chute and I did not arrive until 1230 missing out on my usual flight line walk 🙁 .
Then at around the half way mark of the show my 300mm lens started to show error codes and by the time the Sabre went up it had totally given up the ghost, the rest were shot on my 18-135 lens and slightly cropped.

Hi Martin,
Some more very good pictures from Dx. Well done despite your lens problem.
Just a thought – have you updated your camera with all the new firmware? Canon have just added a load of new Firmware update for just about every camera – you never know that might cure your problem. If you go to the EOS Mag site one of the guys has very kindly added a list of all the upgrades. http://www.eos-magazine-forum.com/showthread.php?18149-new-firmware-added

H Neil,
Thanks for the advice although sadly in this case it turns out the lens is definitely faulty. I am hoping to get a new lens on Wednesday, most likely this one.
It gets a good write up everywhere I have checked and is in my price range so hopefully it will be ideal.
Thank again to everyone for liking the photos too.

Thank You Anna and Sideslip,I am so glad you like them.
Been looking at issues with my lens and seems any aperture above 7.1 and it errors out. Now looking if can get new lens soon as feel lost without one.

I know all about ‘mixed’ days at Duxford. Last year at legends I lost about half the pictures I took due to a faulty CF card. However, what you got looks superb.
