First air show of the season for me and one I quite enjoyed. A slightly different display from the usual Shuttleworth shows as the Light Aircraft Association were holding their Party in the Park at Old Warden and some of the Association members that had flown in also displayed some of their aircraft. Highlight for me was the excellent routine of the Edgley Optica and the all red Midget Mustang was a little pocket rocket as it was thrown around above the airfield. The only down side, if there was one, was the PA system was A LITTLE LOUD and the incessant repetition of referring to Old Warden as ‘The Big Green Time Machine’. Lighting conditions for photography varied from bright sunshine to complete cloud cover and back to sunshine. In the order they were taken.

Very nice pictures. I had intended to go to this show but was put off by the weather forecast. I must stop paying any attention to them.
