Hawk T.1 Final Display

For years I have watched the Hawk T.1 at airshows but yesterday at Duxford saw the final display. So it was great to have good weather and a very spirited display.

Ah, thank you. That was not made clear by the commentary on Sunday.

The T.1 will be in service for a while yet -there are discussions regards overhauls – expect to see Red Arrows and trainer T.1s flying for a few years yet.

Very nice!:) I liked the pairing with the Tucano – Bondy’s final show as well and as you say it was a very good display. So the T1 continues with Red Arrows for a year or two more, does it and then T2 becomes their mount..?
