USAF Thunderbirds at March Field Airfest 2012

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSQGnbyjkKk

The USAF Thunderbirds always put on a great show and their performance at March Field Airfest 2012 was no exception. Most of this video was shot during the Media Day session on Friday.

Enjoy!

I know it’s not the way “we English” do things, but I find it quite fun.
I remember seeing the whole “ceremony” when they did a display at
Lakenheath in 1991, at the start of a European tour. It was just a shame
that on this occasion they landed pretty quick due to heat haze making bad
visibility.

You cannot compare them to any of the European teams, as it’s a totally
different type of display they do. Love listening to them on RT, none of the
shouting you’d normally expect to hear.

Are you for real?! Maybe its a British thing but I cant bear all that pomp and its not as if they are the greatest of teams either.
But thats just my view lol

Very nice, haven’t seen them for a long time.

I’d like to see the Red Arrows put on a similar type of ground display prior to
take off. It all adds to the experience.
