I was lucky enough to spend the weekend with The Buccaneer Aviation Group at Bruntingthorpe, helping with their buccs and having a little play with the new arrivals.
Putting the wing back on the jag
Safely secured
Panelling her back up
Panelling up the SHAR
A member of the VRT gets involved (and FAST, and T-BAG) bleeding the hydraulic lines
Towing XW544 into position
544 completes her run
The new arrivals are paraded infront of the crowd

I’m afraid I didn’t get a picture of the beech flypast as from where I was stood she was beneath the horizon. Brought a smile to our faces  . Another fantastic weekend, perhaps their busiest yes. Thanks to everyone who made donations for the cockpit visits (and nice to have a face to put to the posts Wyvernfan). It will all be put to good use.

So will the new arrivals be kept as runners or is it too late/exspensive to keep then running?
At the moment they’re both engineless, so they won’t be running for a while. I believe the owners are looking for pieces to put them back together. If anyone knows of anything I’m sure the team there would love to hear from you.
