A glorious day only let down by a wind which did not drop until the sunlight had gone so although they managed to fly two of the Edwardians it was hard for the photographer.
I thought that it was one of the best shows with several a/c I had not seen before
First there was the gorgeous Whitney Straight

which flew in formation with 3 other Miles a/c, the Falcon, Gemini and Magister

Sir John Allison gave a spirited display in his Gemini

Although not part of the show this BE2 replica was amongst the visitors

as was the Fokker DR1

Two Chiltons were visitors who did display with Claire Tector in the blue one and Anna Walker in the red

I had not seen the Comper Swift for a few years

Then there were the regulars
The Bristol Fighter

SE 5

Sopwith Triplane

Hawker Hind

Gloster Gladiator

Lysander

Blackburn Monoplane in the gathering darkness

And then as the season ended our hero rode off into the sunset…
