Many thanks to the Force Development Squadron at RAF Wyton for a very interesting 4 hours with a 95 year old man who never stopped talking. Apart from when he went flying that was.

Ken Wallis…National Treasure!

Great pictures and a great man. Been to Reymerston a couple of times myself and spoken with Ken many times, he is a treat to listen to. I’m lucky in that I also get to meet him at 007 events and always look forward to meeting up with him again. Pity my pictures never match up to yours though.

Couldn’t have put it better, myself.:) I have never had the pleasure of meeting him but one day…you never know. And only 4 hours!!

Tarkey
Zeus wasn’t very well so he went up in his two-seater with the four bladed prop. He did 2 runs taking aerial photos of us and also when he was on the ground. I’d send him photos on a disc but apparently he doesn’t have a computer.
Surprised he didn’t invent one. 😀

Great pictures of a great man. we had him here on sunday at Martlesham open day. I visited the Hall last year and what a day. The man is incredible and at his age to.
Did he take a photograph of you from up there on Zuess as I guess it was the one he flew. How does he do it. He drove down to us in his near vintage car with a trailer having loaded it all him self.
Thay dont make them like that any more
Great photos from you as ever Brian.

Most excellent to see this truly amazing man in flight!
That hands free shot of him snapping you with his camera is the best Wallis photo of him I have ever seen. I am jealous! 😀 You should send that photo enlarged to the Flixton museum to add to their collection of photos & artwork!

Very nice shots Brian, he certainly has a great collection. He just doesn’t seem to get any older, amazing man.
