well i survived the flight back home.
i had a great time at legends, and whilst tinged with the sadness of the loss of big beautiful doll(a68-192) it was a great event and if i get the chance(well if my wife lets me) i’ll go back in a heartbeat,i loved seeing aircraft that i’ll probably never see downunder, and the whole duxford sight is incredible (and i never even got to the land museum)thses are a few of my saturday shot’s and ill put up some sunday shot’s over the next few days.

thanks debbie
my dad and i had a ball, down here we only have 2 spits flying and a couple of others under restoration(the biggest single type was 7 mustangs in one place till i got up there).
dont take it for granted as most of us down here are very jealous 😉
but on the plus side we do have the only flying hudson and some people take that for granted 😮
if i get back i hope to see more air museums as i only got to hendon and you have so much history, even my wife had a ball(although she wasnt at legends :dev2:)

Very nice shots and glad you enjoyed your visit and that it did not disappoint, having come so far. And next time give the Land Warfare Museum a crack – it’s well worth it.

Glad you enjoyed the best show of piston engined warbirds in Europe. It would be great to know you are coming back. The land warfare museum is well worth a visit but I suggest you use flash for photography as it is quite dark inside.
