Duxford Flying Legends 2011 Sat/Sun

Enjoyed both days at Flying Legends despite the lack of sunshine most of the time. Sad to see BBD is no more, but what an amazing escape by both pilots which is what really counts. And not forgetting the Tridecker pilot either.

I did not see any of it at all and it took a few minutes to filter down what was going on and I had not realized I had photographed a Skyraider with a broken wing until I got home. Nearer the time I thought it was the sandy coloured Skyraider that was involved and I had not photographed that one landing on the second day.

I will start with BBD, her last time in the sun – or will it.
