I have not been to this event before but I am now rather glad I did. First it was hot almost unbearably hot. So hats off to the Vulcan crew in that small cramped cockpit in the blistering heat. Nice to see a visit from Hangar 11’s P.51 and the BBMF. All in all a very enjoyable day.

Dare I say that the Vulcan looks at least as good as, if not better than, XH558! I certainly prefer the colour scheme on ‘655, which is more representative of how most Vulcans looked in the 1970s/’80s.
