Well it was a wash out but at least there was a bit of flying and the hangars had some interesting bits and pieces.

I spotted this Tornado F.2 tailfin and thought it looked familiar. Then I remembered the last place I saw the fin it was when it was still attached to ZD937 at Farnborough Airshow in 1988

Jaguar GR.3 – XX119
You got two of my all time favourites in those two pictures, the Jaguar looks stunning in the special paint job, I watched it being engine run only four weeks ago, the second picture I like isn’t the ADV but the EAP (Only part of it showing in the picture), an all time great aircraft, it will be nice to see that on public display in the near future – Mike

Like you say, with Cosford at least there are very interesting hangar displays to take in.
