Hi all spent a few hours at barton airfield on easter sunday as im a bit rusty with the old camera

That would be the Taylor monoplane.
I think Red Hot refers to the exhaust as it wouldn’t apply to the pilot in Britain’s climate.:D

I’ll remember that for next time I visit. It came in then took off again and didnt return the rest of the afternoon.

D-EARY sounds awesome not only does it look like a warbird it sounds like one too i was stood on a metrolink platform last week and was convinced it was a spit or something till i found it
but yep barton is superb for photography i believe if you take a hi viz vest they allow a walk around the hangars etc for photography
