Went to the last Vintage Sunday fly-inn. Classic aircraft visitors were very thin on the ground.
However, along with a freind, we were allowed to venture a little further in to one of the hangars to get a picture partly built replica BE2. I have no info on it.
Just one pic.

Its undoubtedly the example created by the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection.
Today in the local monthly publication it stated under Local Council News;
* Councillors were asked for their comments on the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection moving to Old Sarum. It was considered unfortunate that the scheme could not remain in Amesbury, but there was nowhere suitable for it to be housed. Old Sarum would be the right place to be for the Great Stones Way project.

Those propellers were a work of art. If the rest of the aircraft comes out looking as good it is going to be spectacular.

My mind absolutely boggles when you consider how far aviation has come in a hundred years 😮
It still amazes me that there was only about 10 years between the design of the lancaster and the design of the vulcan!
